D1061S GMI Fieldbus Isolating Repeater Module
The D1061S GMI is a high-performance, galvanically isolated fieldbus repeater and serial interface module designed to bridge safe area communications (RS232, RS422, RS485) with intrinsically safe (I.S.) field devices installed in hazardous industrial locations. Converting and isolating data signals seamlessly, the D1061S GMI enables reliable serial data exchange across SCADA, PLC, and telemetry control systems operating in Zone 2, Class I, Division 2 environments.
Engineered with 1.5 kV galvanic isolation between I.S. field connections, safe area ports, and power supply lines, the D1061S GMI repeater protects sensitive control electronics against ground loops, high-voltage surges, and signal interference. Supporting high-speed transmissions up to 1.5 Mbit/s with configurable DIP-switch settings, this module ensures fast dynamic response for long-distance industrial serial networks.
