Key Features of the S7 RADIOBOX CAN SIGNAL CONVERTER TECHNOTON
-
Multi-Sensor Wireless Receiver: Supports simultaneous connection to up to 10 wireless DUT-E S7 fuel level sensors or DFM S7 / DFM Marine S7 fuel flow meters
-
BLE-to-CAN Protocol Conversion: Converts wireless Bluetooth S7 Technology broadcasts into wired CAN bus digital messages adhering to SAE J1939/71 standards
-
Onboard Sensor Data Aggregation: Automatically calculates total fuel volume by summarizing readings from multiple tanks or multi-point level sensors
-
Differential Flow Measurement Mode: Configurable to pair two wireless flow meters (supply and return lines) to calculate net fuel consumption in real time
-
Bypasses Metal Shielding & Interference: Solves wireless signal attenuation caused by steel ship bulkheads, tank enclosures, and heavy machinery chassis by converting to wired CAN
-
Simplified Service Configuration: Fully adjustable through Technoton dedicated service software for rapid parameter mapping and network integration
Application S7 Radiobox CAN
In the fuel control and ship telematics system, flow meters and level sensors are installed in limited space conditions – it is difficult to pull the signal cable to the monitoring terminal. Using S7 Radiobox CAN allows to “bypass” difficult areas for cable pulling, and also allows to control the readings of wireless BLE devices using a mobile application.

At fire hazardous objects –fuel storage facilities, gasoline tankers – the use of wireless level sensors and fuel flow meters allows to solve the problems of fire and explosion safety, because there is no electrical contact between the sensor itself and the external power supply.
However, if BLE sensors are installed far away from the receiving device (e.g., GPS terminal) or if several sensors are used at the monitoring object and cable laying is laborious, it is recommended to use S7 Radiobox CAN.
