Overview

The Lowrance xSonic Airmar SS175M is a premium 1 kW stainless steel through-hull CHIRP transducer designed for offshore fishing, sportfishing, and commercial vessels up to 25 ft (8 m). Operating in the Medium CHIRP frequency range (85–135 kHz), τhe Lowrance xSonic Airmar SS175M delivers an excellent balance between deep-water penetration and superior target separation. This version features a 12° tilted-element housing, making it ideal for vessels with 8°–15° hull deadrise, and includes a 9-pin xSonic connector for compatibility with selected Lowrance, Simrad, and B&G multifunction displays.

The tilted-element design keeps the sonar beam perpendicular to the seabed without requiring a fairing block, reducing drag while maximizing sonar performance. Its stainless steel housing provides excellent corrosion resistance, while the integrated water temperature sensor offers real-time temperature data for enhanced fishing performance.
