Overview

The Lowrance xSonic Airmar SS175M is a premium 1 kW stainless steel through-hull CHIRP transducer engineered for offshore fishing, sportfishing, and commercial vessels up to 8 m (25 ft) in length. Operating in the Medium CHIRP frequency range (85–135 kHz), the Lowrance xSonic Airmar SS175M 20 Tilt provides an excellent balance between deep-water penetration and superior target separation. This version features a 20° tilted-element housing, making it ideal for boats with 16°–24° hull deadrise, and connects through a 9-pin xSonic connector for compatibility with selected Lowrance, Simrad, and B&G multifunction displays.

The tilted-element design keeps the sonar beam perpendicular to the seabed without requiring a fairing block, reducing drag while maximizing sonar performance. Its stainless steel housing, integrated water temperature sensor, and 10 m (33 ft) cable make it a reliable solution for demanding marine environments.
