The MasterCAN C 232/485 CAN Converter by Technoton converts vehicle CAN bus data from SAE J1939/71 into RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces supporting ASCII, Modbus RTU and DUT-E COM.

MasterCAN C 232/485 CAN Converter
The MasterCAN C 232/485 CAN Converter by Technoton is a professional vehicle data interface designed to convert information from CAN SAE J1939/71 networks into RS-232 and RS-485 communication interfaces.
It provides a practical solution when a telematics terminal, GPS tracker, PLC, controller or monitoring device needs access to CAN bus information but does not have a suitable native CAN interface.
CAN J1939 to RS-232 & RS-485 Conversion
The MasterCAN C 232/485 receives and processes data from the vehicle’s CAN network and makes the information available through serial communication interfaces.

Vehicle Telematics Integration
The MasterCAN C 232/485 CAN Converter is particularly useful for integrating CAN bus information into GPS tracking and fleet management systems.
The converter can automatically scan and parse FMS messages from the onboard CAN SAE J1939/71 network and transfer the resulting information through RS-232 or RS-485. It can also calculate accumulated fuel consumption using CAN fuel-rate data where appropriate.
