A2K-SBN-1 ACTISENSE Small Boat NMEA 2000 Network Hub

The A2K-SBN-1 ACTISENSE (Small Boat Network) is a compact, self-contained NMEA 2000 hub designed specifically for small vessels, ribs, center consoles, and compact helm stations. By integrating a 4-way Micro-C junction block, internal $120\ \Omega$ termination resistors, and an attached 3-meter fused power cable into a single overmoulded enclosure, the A2K-SBN-1 ACTISENSE creates a complete, standalone NMEA 2000 network footprint in a single device.

Designed to replace up to eight individual connectors and T-pieces, the A2K-SBN-1 ACTISENSE significantly reduces installation footprint, installation time, and potential failure points. Its rugged IP67 waterproof housing and metal M12 coupling threads ensure continuous protection against saltwater ingress, engine vibration, and harsh marine environments.

Key Features of the A2K-SBN-1 ACTISENSE

• All-in-One Network Architecture: Integrates a 4-port Micro-C hub, dual internal $120\ \Omega$ CAN-bus terminators, and power lead into one compact block.

• Integrated 3-Meter Power Cable: Pre-wired fused power cable supplies noise-filtered power directly to all four connected instrument drop ports.

• Eliminates Separate Terminators: Built-in internal termination resistors ensure proper $120\ \Omega$ network impedance without external termination fittings.

• Space-Saving Helm Consolidation: Replaces chains of individual T-pieces and power taps behind cramped steering consoles and dashboards.

• IP67 Waterproof & Rugged Overmoulding: Heavy-duty sealed housing delivers reliable dust and water ingress protection for open boats and wet bilges.

• Universal Micro-C Standard: 100% NMEA 2000 certified, providing seamless interoperability with Garmin, Raymarine, Lowrance, Simrad, Furuno, and B&G devices.

Primary Applications

• Small Vessel NMEA 2000 Networks: Building a standalone NMEA 2000 backbone on RIBs, tenders, center consoles, and small fishing boats

• Compact Helm & Dashboard Hubs: Connecting up to four electronic units (e.g., MFD, GPS receiver, VHF radio, and depth transducer) at a central station

• Engine Room Telemetry Nodes: Collecting signals from up to four engine gateways or tank level sensors using a centralized, space-saving junction box
