A2K-KIT-4 ACTISENSE NMEA 2000 Smart Micro Starter Network Kit

The A2K-KIT-4 ACTISENSE (A2K-KIT-4a) is an advanced NMEA 2000 certified starter kit designed for marine technicians, vessel owners, and system integrators seeking diagnostic visibility across onboard CAN-bus networks. Built around Actisense’s Smart T-Piece technology (A2K-SMART-T), this kit simplifies backbone deployment while offering instant visual health diagnostics for power, voltage thresholds, and bus polarity directly at the connection block.

Featuring heavy-duty overmoulded Micro-C connectors, nickel-plated metal M12 coupling nuts, and continuous internal shielding, the A2K-KIT-4 ACTISENSE delivers superior IP67 water ingress protection and high immunity against electromagnetic interference (EMI). Universal Micro-C DeviceNet compatibility ensures plug-and-play integration with chartplotters, GPS units, engine gateways, and marine sensors across all major manufacturers.

Key Features of the A2K-KIT-4 ACTISENSE

• Real-Time LED Diagnostic Monitoring: Utilizes the A2K-SMART-T junction block with color-coded LED indicators to instantly alert installers to reverse polarity, voltage drops, and bus power anomalies.

• Complete Backbone Starter Package: Includes all fundamental components necessary to establish, power, and terminate a high-reliability NMEA 2000 network.

• Fused Power Tap Cable: Supplies clean, noise-filtered DC power to connected network drop lines via an integrated in-line fused power cable.

• IP67 Sealed Waterproofing: Rugged TPU overmoulding and internal potting safeguard signal integrity against saltwater, bilge humidity, and engine vibration.

• Durable Metal M12 Coupling Rings: Corrosion-resistant nickel-plated brass locking nuts prevent thread stripping and looseness caused by vessel movement.

• Universal Micro-C Standard: 100% NMEA 2000 certified, ensuring full interoperability with Garmin, Lowrance, Simrad, Raymarine, Furuno, and B&G devices.

Primary Applications

• New Vessel Smart Network Deployments: Installing a diagnostic-enabled NMEA 2000 backbone on commercial workboats, luxury yachts, and fishing vessels

• Helm Console Electronics Expansion: Connecting MFDs, autopilots, VHF radios, and wind/depth instruments with visible health status monitoring

• Engine & Telemetry Integration: Interfacing engine monitoring gateways and fuel flow sensors to the vessel’s primary display network
