QNB-1 ACTISENSE NMEA 2000 Quick Network Block

The QNB-1 ACTISENSE (Quick Network Block) is an industrial-grade NMEA 2000 junction center engineered to simplify multiplexed backbone installations, streamline drop cable connections, and provide centralized power management for vessel telemetry networks. Replacing individual T-pieces and field-attachable connectors, the QNB-1 ACTISENSE offers a cost-effective alternative for organizing complex marine electronics wiring inside helm consoles, engine spaces, and equipment bays.

Available in gland (QNB-1-PMW) and M12 connector (QNB-1-M12) configurations, the QNB-1 ACTISENSE features onboard ATO blade fuses to protect individual network segments against overcurrent faults. By separating power into two independently fused channels, it allows installers to balance network current loads across extensive NMEA 2000 backbones while maintaining full signal integrity and continuous shield continuity.

Key Features of the QNB-1 ACTISENSE

• Centralized Backbone & Drop Distribution: Connects multiple NMEA 2000 devices and backbone segments in a single robust enclosure, reducing connector clutter behind helm dashboards.

• Dual Fused Power Feed: Divides network power into two distinct fused banks using standard, easily replaceable automotive ATO blade fuses.

• Diagnostics & Status LEDs: Integrated power polarity, fuse health, and network traffic status LEDs facilitate instant visual troubleshooting during commissioning and maintenance.

• Flexible Cable Gland or Micro-C Options: Offered as QNB-1-PMW with waterproof compression cable glands for raw wire connections or QNB-1-M12 with standard pre-moulded Micro-C sockets.

• Rugged IP66 Housing: Housed in a durable, flame-retardant Polycarbonate enclosure with a transparent cover for clear visibility of internal diagnostics in harsh marine environments.

• High Current Handling: Capable of distributing up to 10 A total network current across connected bus segments.

Primary Applications

• Complex Marine Electronics Installation: Combining multiple instrument drop lines (GPS, wind, depth, engine gateways) into a single junction block

• Split Network Power Architecture: Powering large NMEA 2000 networks from central DC distribution panels with independent branch circuit protection

• Custom OEM & Commercial Vessel Builds: Streamlining vessel telemetry wiring on workboats, commercial fishing vessels, and luxury yachts
