A2K-GC ACTISENSE NMEA 2000 Gender Changer Cable

The A2K-GC ACTISENSE is a specialized NMEA 2000 gender changer adapter cable designed to solve connection mismatch issues during vessel backbone installation, cabling extensions, and retrofit upgrades. Featuring dual female Micro-C connectors (or male-to-male variants in the A2K gender changer series), the A2K-GC ACTISENSE allows marine technicians to connect two cables or network drop lines with identical end genders without re-running entire cable assemblies.

Built with flexible, UL-recognized shielded cable and rugged overmoulded connectors with nickel-plated metal coupling nuts, the A2K-GC ACTISENSE delivers complete IP67 water ingress protection. Its internal foil-and-braid shielding maintains total signal integrity and RF noise isolation, making it an essential utility tool for commercial vessel telematics, workboats, and luxury yacht helm installations.

Key Features of the A2K-GC ACTISENSE

• Resolves Connector Mismatches: Instantly adapts and joins two identical Micro-C cable ends without needing to pull replacement wiring through bulkheads.

• IP67 Sealed Waterproofing: Heavy-duty overmoulding and high-grade rubber seals shield delicate pin contacts from saltwater, bilge humidity, and corrosion.

• Continuous Foil & Braid Shielding: Prevents cross-talk, voltage interference, and signal reflections along the NMEA 2000 CAN-bus data lines.

• Nickel-Plated Metal Coupling Nuts: Precision M12 locking rings withstand high mechanical tension and engine vibration without unthreading.

• Universal Micro-C Standard: 100% NMEA 2000 certified for plug-and-play compatibility across Garmin, Lowrance, Simrad, Raymarine, Furuno, and B&G network hardware.

Primary Applications

• NMEA 2000 Cable Extensions: Bridging two standard Micro-C extension cables to reach distant sensor drop locations or secondary helm stations

• Custom Marine Telemetry Wiring: Adapting non-standard instrument pinouts, gateways, and transceivers to fit the primary backbone layout

• Onboard Technician Kit Essential: Providing quick, temporary or permanent cabling adaptations during marine electronics installation and service calls
