A2K-SBN-2 ACTISENSE 8-Way Small Boat NMEA 2000 Network Hub

The A2K-SBN-2 ACTISENSE (Small Boat Network) is an expanded, self-contained 8-port NMEA 2000 hub engineered for vessels requiring higher device density in a compact space. By integrating an 8-way Micro-C drop port block, internal $120\ \Omega$ termination resistors, and an attached 3-meter fused power cable into a single overmoulded footprint, the A2K-SBN-2 ACTISENSE creates a complete, standalone NMEA 2000 backbone network in one rugged assembly.

Designed to replace up to 16 individual connectors, T-pieces, and separate termination plugs, the A2K-SBN-2 ACTISENSE dramatically simplifies wiring behind crowded helm consoles, flybridges, and machinery spaces. Its heavy-duty IP67 waterproof construction and nickel-plated metal M12 coupling threads ensure maximum protection against saltwater, severe engine vibration, and ambient electrical noise.

Key Features of the A2K-SBN-2 ACTISENSE

• High-Density 8-Port Capacity: Expands network connectivity to eight individual Micro-C drop ports in a ultra-compact junction block.

• All-in-One Standalone Architecture: Integrates eight female drop ports, dual internal $120\ \Omega$ termination resistors, and power feed into a single component.

• Integrated 3-Meter Power Cable: Attached fused power cable provides direct, noise-filtered DC power distribution to all connected marine instruments.

• Eliminates External Terminators: Internal precision resistors guarantee proper $120\ \Omega$ CAN-bus impedance matching without needing dedicated end terminators.

• IP67 Sealed Waterproofing: Overmoulded TPU housing and strain relief safeguard internal contacts against bilge moisture, corrosion, and continuous vibration.

• Universal Micro-C Compatibility: 100% NMEA 2000 certified for seamless plug-and-play integration with Garmin, Raymarine, Lowrance, Simrad, Furuno, and B&G devices.

Primary Applications

• Expanded Helm Console Hubs: Interfacing up to eight electronic instruments (e.g., MFDs, autopilot, VHF radio, AIS, radar, and sonar transducers) at a single helm station

• Commercial Workboats & RIBs: Establishing a clean, space-saving NMEA 2000 backbone on center consoles, tenders, and fishing vessels

• Engine & Vessel Telemetry Nodes: Consolidating multi-engine gateways, fuel flow sensors, and fluid tank senders into a single central junction block
